Labels
Employers are required to provide labels for ACM and PACM that must be posted on raw materials, scrap, waste, debris, and other products containing asbestos. Bags, PPE, scrap, or debris containing asbestos must contain labels with the following information:
- DANGER
- CONTAINS ASBESTOS FIBERS
- MAY CAUSE CANCER
- CAUSES DAMAGE TO LUNGS
- DO NOT BREATHE DUST
- AVOID CREATING DUST
