Protective Clothing & Equipment
Personal protective clothing and equipment, such as boots, gloves, sleeves, aprons, safety goggles, and faceshields, should be worn where appropriate to prevent skin and eye contact with liquid benzene. Protective clothing and equipment must be provided by the employer at no cost to the employee. Employers are responsible for ensuring that workers use the equipment appropriately.
