The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) Title 8 California Code of Regulations (CCR), Article 108, section 5218 sets forth regulations for occupational exposure to benzene. The subsections, each of which will be covered in this course, set forth employee exposure limits, exposure monitoring and oversight requirements, compliance methods, respiratory protection and personal protective equipment requirements, medical surveillance parameters, hazard communication guidelines, and record keeping requirements.
