Termination of Monitoring
If the initial monitoring for benzene reveals that the employee's exposure is lower than the action level, the employer may discontinue the monitoring for that employee, except as additional monitoring is required.
If the periodic monitoring for benzene reveals that the employee's exposure, as indicated by at least two consecutive measurements taken at least seven days apart, is lower than the action level, the employer may discontinue the monitoring for that employee, except as additional monitoring is required.
