Filing a Complaint Through DFEH or EEOC
You may also file a complaint through the DFEH or EEOC.
The DFEH requires you to first fill out an intake form. You will need to speak to a representative to determine if the incident has the requirements needed to warrant a case. You can contact a representative via phone, email, or letter to begin this process.

The EEOC process is similar. You must contact the EEOC to schedule an intake interview. You can do this by calling, logging onto the EEOC Online Portal, visiting a local office, or sending a letter.
