Offensive Nonsexual Conduct
Harassment need not be sexual in nature to be illegal. Actions such as yelling, using bad language, or saying other offensive things can be illegal and considered sexual harassment if this conduct is aimed at a specific group. As a rule of thumb, if the conduct makes the work environment hostile for one specific group of people (or for a person who identifies with this group), then it is unlawful and defined as sexual harassment.
