Additional Employer Requirements for Protecting Agricultural Workers
In addition to the WPS protections described previously, that employers must provide to both workers and handlers, employers are required to provide additional protections, discussed in this section, to their worker employees.
Note that the WPS requirements detailed in this section reflect revisions to the WPS that were made up to September 2005 and do not reflect the newest 2015 requirements. Worker employers should begin adopting the new requirements as soon as possible in order to meet the compliance deadline of January 2, 2017.
