Centralized Information Accessibility

The centralized information should be readily accessible and posted at a location where workers and handlers can easily see it and read it and where they are likely to gather or pass by. Employers are required to tell workers and handlers where the information is located and to inform them of any change in the information about emergency medical facilities.

The information must be posted within the following time frames:

• If workers or handlers are going to be on an agricultural establishment at the start of a pesticide application, the employer must display the required pesticide-specific information before the application takes place.
• If workers or handlers are not on the agricultural establishment at the start of a pesticide application, the employer is required to display the pesticide-specific information no later than the beginning of the workers' or handlers' first work period.
• When workers or handlers remain on the agricultural establishment after the pesticide application, the employer is required to continue to display the pesticide-specific information until at least 30 days after the restricted-entry interval expires; or, if there is no restricted-entry interval for the pesticide, until at least 30 days after the end of the application.

If WPS warning signs are posted at treated areas, pesticide-specific information must be displayed at the central location no later than the time when the signs are posted.
