Centralized Information
Worker employers must make sure that certain information, described below, is displayed at a central location whenever any worker whom they employ is on their agricultural establishment and a pesticide is about to be applied or has recently been applied.
Before any pesticide application occurs, pesticide-specific application information, emergency information, and a pesticide safety poster must all be displayed at a central location at the agricultural establishment.
The pesticide-specific application information must include the following:
- Location and description of the area to be treated
- Product name
- EPA registration number
- Active ingredient(s) of the pesticide
- Time and date when the pesticide is scheduled to be applied
- Restricted-entry interval for the pesticide
The emergency information must include the name, telephone number, and address of the nearest emergency medical facility.
