Early-Entry Worker Protections
Worker entry into a treated area that remains under a restricted-entry interval is permitted by the WPS in only a few work situations. When early entry is permitted, special protections must be given to early-entry workers, as described in this section.
Note: that the WPS requirements detailed in this section reflect revisions to the WPS that were made up to September 2005 and do not reflect the newest 2015 requirements. Worker employers should begin adopting the new requirements as soon as possible in order to meet the compliance deadline of January 2, 2017.
