Standards for the Direct Transfer of Hazardous Waste to BIFs
RCRA regulations 40 CFR 266.102-103 are special regulations that apply to owners and operators of certain BIFs when they transfer hazardous waste directly from a transport vehicle to a BIF without storing it for any time in a storage unit. This standard requires specific operating procedures that govern how the hazardous waste is transferred to the BIF.
