Hazardous Waste Notice

In addition to the hazardous material label that identifies the category of the hazard, if a container holds less than 119 gallons, it must also be marked with the following information:

The generator's name, address, and EPA identification number
The manifest tracking number
A notice that includes this wording: "HAZARDOUS WASTE - Federal Law Prohibits Improper Disposal. If found, contact the nearest police or public safety authority or the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency."
