Airdropped HAZMAT

1.12 covers hazardous materials that must be airdropped, and how they must be prepared, marked, labeled, certified, and accepted the same as air landed cargo.

Nuclear weapons material and the procedures for preparing it for shipment are described in 1.13.

1.14 details the U.S.'s membership in the Air Standardization Coordinating Committee (ASCC), and how the member nations agree to accept the categorization and authorization of explosives, radioactive materials, and dangerous cargo for onward carriage on their own military aircraft. Shipments must be labeled using ICAO, IATA, or nationally approved labels; shipments must be certified that they meet all requirements for air transport.
