Compatibility Waiver - Information Required
You must provide the following information when requesting a compatibility waiver (2.3.2.2.1 through 2.3.2.2.6):
- Reasons that incompatible materials are being shipped together, along with the reason for air transport (and why other transportation modes cannot be used).
- A statement that items are packaged or prepared as required by this manual, and that incompatible items are separate by the greatest distance possible to reduce hazard in case of a detonation, fire, or leak.
- An intended date of movement, routing, and type of airlift required.
- National stock numbers and model numbers of explosive items, Proper Shipping Names (PSNs), hazard classes, UN Identification numbers, quantity and net explosive weight (individual and total as applicable), and packaging paragraphs.
- Points of contact at the origin and destination bases.
