Intermodal Shipments
Intermodal shipments must be accompanied by the appropriate documentation. Guides 112, 114, and 138 are applicable to intermodal shipments. These guides outline the potential hazards of hazardous material shipments, as well as public safety and emergency responses. The following are forms for different modes of transportation:
- DD Form 626 is a motor vehicle inspection form for transporting hazardous materials.
- A DD Form 2890 must be provided whenever shipping papers are required to give emergency response information to all vehicles transporting hazardous materials.
