Single or Composite Packaging

A single or composite packaging that is tested and marked for liquid hazardous material use can be filled with a solid hazardous material. However, the gross mass, in kilograms, of the solid must not exceed the rated capacity of the packaging in liters multiplied by the specific gravity marked on the packaging or by 1.2 if not marked. Refer to A3.1.12 for more details.
