Special Operation Requirements
3.4 covers specific operational requirements that must be validated and approved according to paragraph 3.2, including:
- Unpackaged hazardous materials (see A5.2)
- Vehicles and equipment fuel-in-tank operational fuel levels (See A6.27, A7.11, A13.4 or A13.20)
- Incompatible items on the same aircraft (see A18.4)
- Personnel hand carrying hazardous materials (see paragraph 3.5)
3.5 discusses the basic combat load or individual issue of personnel. A Shipper's Declaration For Dangerous Goods is not required in this situation. Check 3.5 for requirements.
3.6 describes passenger eligibility. Passengers involved in tactical, contingency, emergency, or deployment operations (including exercises), that are transported on military organic aircraft according to this chapter are not considered passengers for purposes of this manual.
