Driver (CDL) - Potential Threats

Terrorists do not conform to any specific stereotypes. They may hold regular jobs, go to school, and shop at the local grocery store. The most successful terrorists are those you do not suspect.

Terrorists also vary in their motivations. They may be disgruntled employees, or they may feel persecuted for political, social, or religious reasons. Terrorist behavior may vary greatly depending on ideological commitment, individual intelligence and education, geographical setting, and organizational reach.

External threats are often the most significant. Those threats come from outside and could be from anyone. However, internal threats can be just as dangerous. Terrorists can infiltrate a business and obtain a position of trust. This provides them with access to the information or material they need to carry out their threat.

Any threat should be taken seriously. It is your responsibility to be suspicious and report any unusual behavior.
