Driver (CDL) - Training Records
Employers are responsible for creating and retaining all HAZMAT employees' training records. The records must include:
- Name of the employee
- Completion date of the most recent training
- Description, copy, and location of the materials used to conduct the training
- Name and address of the person providing the training
- Certification that the HAZMAT employee was trained and tested
Training records must be retained for 90 days after the HAZMAT employee is no longer employed by that employer. Further record keeping information can be found in CFR 172.704.
