Railroad - Forbidden Mixed Loading and Storage
Division 1.1 or 1.2 explosive materials and initiating or priming explosives must not be stored together in the same rail car. In addition, they must not be transported or loaded in the same rail car or on carrier property with charged electric storage batteries, or with any hazardous materials marked with the following labels:
- NONFLAMMABLE GAS
- FLAMMABLE GAS
- FLAMMABLE LIQUID
- FLAMMABLE SOLID
- OXIDIZER
- ORGANIC PEROXIDE
- RADIOACTIVE
- CORROSIVE
Class 1 - Explosive Materials must not be loaded together except as provided by §174.81.
