Cargo Acceptance - Unit Load Devices

An operator may only accept a freight container or a unit load device containing dangerous goods if it meets one of the following conditions:

• The freight container is used for radioactive material.
• The unit load device contains consumer commodities that are prepared in accordance with Packing Instruction Y963.
• The unit load device contains dry ice used as a refrigerant for non-dangerous goods and prepared in accordance with Packing Instruction 954.
• The unit load device contains magnetized material that has obtained prior approval from the operator.
