Flight Crew & Load Planner - Incompatible Dangerous Goods

Some dangerous goods may react dangerously with each other. These goods must be segregated when stowed on an aircraft to prevent any interaction in the event of leakage. DGR Table 9.3.A provides the segregation requirements for different classes of dangerous goods. For example, dangerous goods in Class 5.2 Organic Peroxides must be segregated from any dangerous goods in Class 3 Flammable Liquids.

Segregation requirements apply regardless of whether the hazard is a primary or subsidiary risk. Any dangerous goods packages that require segregation must be physically separated from non-dangerous cargo or separately secured to a pallet or aircraft floor.

Please note that local government regulations may apply more stringent requirements for the segregation of dangerous goods during acceptance, handling, and loading.
