State Variations
State variations are identified by a two-letter country code and the letter "G" (for government) followed by a two-digit number in sequence. State variations apply to the State of origin, the State or States of transit, the State of destination, and the State of the operator.
For example, MYG-01 is a Malaysian Government variation that applies to operators that transport any class of dangerous goods that originate in Malaysia, transit through Malaysia, are destined for Malaysia, or are transported by an operator registered in Malaysia.
When State variations are less restrictive than the DGR, the variations are listed for informational purposes only. They may only be applied within the territory of the notifying State of the operator.
