Section 8 - Documentation
This section describes the documentation necessary for a consignment of dangerous goods. This includes the Shipper's Declaration of Dangerous Goods and an Air Waybill.
The shipper is responsible for providing the applicable information on the required documentation for consignment of each shipment of dangerous goods to the operator.
For each shipment, the shipper must ensure the following:
- Correct form is used in the correct manner.
- Information on the form is accurate, easy to identify, legible, and durable.
- The form is properly signed when the shipment is presented to the operator.
- The shipment has been prepared in accordance with these Regulations.
The shipper must retain a copy of the Shipper's Declaration and any additional documentation specified for a minimum of three months.
