Dangerous Goods List, Columns 15-16

Column (15) - EmS refers to relevant emergency schedules for fire and spillage found in the EmS Guide. The first EmS code refers to the relevant fire schedule in the EmS (for example, "F-A" refers to the first fire [F] schedule, Alpha [A]). The second code given refers to the relevant spillage schedule in the EmS (for example, "S-B"). Underlined EmS codes, found in certain cases, indicate a good for which additional advice is given in the emergency response procedures. Note that the items listed in Column (15) are recommendations, not mandatory provisions.

Column (16a) provides the Stowage Category (A-E, found under Section 7.1.3.2 in Volume One), and, where applicable, the Stowage Code, an alpha-numeric code preceded by "SW" (for example, SW2 - Clear of living quarters). Stowage Code details are provided under 7.1.5. Column (16b) similarly lists all applicable segregation codes for the given good.
