IBC Construction & Testing
General provisions and specific construction requirements are outlined for each major type of IBC, including those of metal, flexible, rigid plastic, fiberboard, and wood materials. Each of these types must also be subjected to specific test procedures, including the following:

The table under 6.5.6.3.5 provides information on which tests must be performed on each type of IBC and in what sequence the tests must be performed. Complete details for each test are also provided. As with other packaging categories, a test report must be drawn up and made available to user of the IBC.
