Multiple Hazard Classification
Special rules apply for substances, mixtures, and solutions that carry multiple hazards. These are outlined in Section 2.0.3, Classification of Substances, Mixtures, and Solutions with Multiple Hazards and in the Precedence of Hazards table at 2.0.3.6. In general, the multiple hazard good must be handled according to its most serious hazard. A group of substances, listed in Subsection 2.0.3.4, are always the primary hazard. Their packing group must be used. For example, in a shipment of a good that is both toxic and radioactive, the radioactivity will always be the primary hazard.
