Class 2 - Division 2.3
Division 2.3 is for toxic gases. These gases are known or presumed to be toxic or corrosive to people and cause health hazards. They have an LC50 value equal to or less than 5,000 mL/m3 (ppm). If these gases have corrosive properties, they must be classified with a subsidiary corrosive risk. Examples of these gases include chlorine and cyanide.
