Class 3 - Liquid Desensitized Explosives
Liquid desensitized explosives are explosive substances that are dissolved or suspended in water or other liquid substances to form a homogeneous liquid mixture to suppress their explosive properties.
Examples of liquid desensitized explosives include:
- UN 1204, Nitroglycerin solution in alcohol, with less than 1% of nitroglycerin
- UN 2059, Nitrocellulose solution, flammable
- UN 3064, Nitroglycerin solution in alcohol with 5% or less but more than 1% of nitroglycerin
- UN 3343, Nitroglycerin mixture, desensitized, liquid, flammable, n.o.s. with 30% or less nitroglycerin
- UN 3357, Nitroglycerin mixture, desensitized, liquid, n.o.s. with 30% or less nitroglycerin
- UN 3379, Desensitized explosive, liquid, n.o.s.
