Class 7 - Low Dispersible Radioactive Material

A low dispersible radioactive material is defined as either a solid radioactive material or a solid radioactive material in a sealed capsule that has limited dispersibility and is not in powder form. The total amount of low dispersible radioactive material in a package must meet the following requirements:

• The radiation level at 3 m from the unshielded radioactive material does not exceed 10 mSv/h.
• The airborne release in gaseous and particulate forms of up to 100 units of nm aerodynamic equivalent diameter would not exceed 100 A2.
• The activity in the water would not exceed 100 A2.
