DOT Exceptions - Agricultural Products

49 CFR §173.5 provides exceptions for agricultural products, other than hazardous wastes, that are transported between fields owned by the same farmer. Agricultural products are defined as hazardous materials used to support farming operations, and include but are not limited to fertilizers, pesticides, soil amendments, and fuel. Agricultural products are limited to materials in Classes 3, 8, 9, Divisions 2.1, 2.2, 5.1, 6.1, and ORM-Ds.
