HAZMAT Shipping Labels - Class 1 Explosives

All Class 1 Explosive labels are orange in color, and the symbols, numbers, and text are printed in black. The labels for Divisions 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 have a symbol of an exploding bomb on the top. Two asterisks on the bottom of the label indicate a place for the Division and Compatibility Group numbers.

The labels for Divisions 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6 all have the division number placed on the top. The numerals must be printed at least 30 mm high and 5 mm wide. Three asterisks on the bottom of the label indicate a place for the Compatibility Group number.

Class 2 Gases Labels

Division 2.1 labels are red with a white or black flame symbol on the top and the class number and any text on the bottom.

Division 2.2 labels have a green background and a gas cylinder symbol, class number, and any text printed in white or black.

Division 2.3 labels have a white background with a black skull and crossbones symbol, class number, and any text printed in black.

Class 3 Flammable Liquid Labels

The label for Class 3 dangerous goods has a red background and a flame symbol on top, and the class number, border line, and any text printed in white or black.
