Canada Road & Rail Transport - Class 1 Packing & Containment
Information regarding packing and containment for Class 1 dangerous goods is found in Part 5 of the TDG Regulations. Dangerous goods included in Class 1 may not be handled, offered for transport, or transported until they have been placed in a means of containment that matches the standards set out in CGSB-43.151, "Packaging, handling, offering for transport, and transport of Explosives (Class 1)." Note that the standard was published in 2012 and has since been updated. The earlier version may no longer be used. This standard is available for purchase through the CGSB.
