Emergency Treatment Program - Further Employer Responsibilities

Employers must also do the following related to an Emergency Treatment Program:

• Provide the appropriate personnel with maps and directions to local medical facilities that have been identified for emergency treatment
• Ensure all managers and all individuals involved in medical response know the way to the nearest emergency medical facility
• Establish a radio communication system for emergency use
• Review emergency procedures daily with all site personnel. This should occur at safety meetings that take place prior to beginning the work shift
