DOT, EPA, and CFR Regulations

OSHA is not the only entity with requirements for drums and containers. Drums and containers must meet the requirements outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT), OSHA, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). 29 CFR 1910.120(j)(1)(ii) states the exact standards that outline the requirements and regulations. They are as follows:

DOT: 49 CFR 171 through 178
OSHA: 29 CFR 1910 and 1926
EPA: 40 CFR 265
