Pictogram 3: Exclamation Mark
The third of OSHA's eight pictograms is the Exclamation Mark pictogram.
The Exclamation Mark pictogram identifies the following classes of chemicals:
- Irritants (skin and eye)
- Skin sensitizers
- Acute toxicity (the toxic effects resulting from a single dose or short exposure to a substance)
- Narcotic effects
- Respiratory tract irritant
- Hazardous to the ozone layer
