Section 6, titled "Accidental Release Measures," includes the following information about responding to accidental releases of the chemical:

• Recommendations for responding to chemical spills
• Recommendations for responding to chemical leaks
• Recommendations for responding to chemical releases
• Containment or cleanup practices that prevent or minimize exposure (to people, properties, or the environment)
• Recommendations for how to distinguish between responses for large spills and small spills (if the spill amount will affect the severity of the hazard and the methods of clean-up)
• Recommendations for use of personal precautions (for example, providing sufficient ventilation to avoid accidental release)
• Recommendations for protective equipment (to prevent skin, eye, and clothing contamination)
• Emergency procedures (including evacuations instructions, when to consult with experts, and what protective clothing to wear during an emergency response)
• Methods and materials used for containment (for example, how to properly store the chemical)
• Cleanup procedures (for example, steps for neutralizing, decontaminating, cleaning, or removing the chemical or chemicals)
