Safety and Health Training Program - Officers and Leaders
OSHA states that "officers and leaders who may be expected to be in charge at an incident should be fully knowledgeable of their company's incident command system. They should know where and how to obtain additional assistance and be familiar with the local district's emergency response plan and the state emergency response plan."
It is the responsibility of the employer to train officers and leaders to adequately meet this expectation.
