Site Control Program - Site Communication (External)
Internal communication is for the following tasks:
An external communication system takes place between onsite and offsite personnel. It mainly occurs through telephone and radio. If there are no telephone lines on the site, then all team members should know the location of the nearest telephone. The Support Zone should contain all necessary telephone numbers.
External communication allows teams to do the following:
- Coordinate emergency response.
- Report to management.
- Maintain contact with essential off-site personnel.
