Decontamination Procedures - Maximum Decontamination Layout, Level C

Maximum decontamination layout of Level C begins in the Exclusion Zone, which has 6 stations.

• Station 1: Segregated Equipment Drop
• Station 2: Boot Cover & Glove Wash
• Station 3: Boot Cover & Glove Rinse
• Station 4: Tape Removal
• Station 5: Boot Cover Removal
• Station 6: Outer Glove Removal

From here, workers move across the Hotline and into the Contamination Reduction Zone. In this area are Stations 7-16.

• Station 7: Suit/Safety Boot Wash
• Station 8: Suit/SCBA/Boot/Glove Rinse.

Note that here, workers may move to Station 9 (Tank Change and Redress - Boot Cover/Outer Gloves), and then cross back over the Hotline to enter the Exclusion Zone, or move to Station 10.

• Station 10: Safety Boot Removal
• Station 11: Splash Suit Removal
• Station 12: Inner Glove Wash
• Station 13: Inner Glove Rinse
• Station 14: Face Piece Removal
• Station 15: Inner Glove Removal
• Station 16: Inner Clothing Removal

From here, workers may cross the Contamination Control Line, which leads to Stations 17 and 18 (in the Support Zone).

• Station 17: Field Wash
• Station 18: Redress
