Decontamination Procedures - Minimum Decontamination Layout, Level A and B

OSHA also provides a minimum decontamination layout for sites with Level A and B contaminants. It contains the following:

• The Equipment Drop Area (and plastic sheet)
• The Decon Outer Garments area
• The Remove Boot Covers and Outer Gloves area
• The Hotline Decon Solution and Water area
• The Remove Boots/Gloves and Outer Garments (For Disposal and Off Site Decontamination)
• The Remove SCBA final decon area

Note that the minimum decontamination layout of Levels A and B takes wind direction (toward the Hotline) into consideration.
