Record-Keeping
Tests must be recorded. Test records should identify each receptacle, cord set, and cord- and plug-connected equipment that passed the test. The date of the last test must be recorded. Alternatively, the interval for which it was tested can be recorded instead. The record can be kept through a variety of methods, such as the following:
- Log
- Color-coding
- Other effective means
The record must be maintained until replaced by a more current record. The record must be available on the jobsite and for inspection by the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health and any affected employee.
