Employee Recordkeeping Rights - High Lead Exposure
If the results of the medical examination show that an employee has a high level of lead exposure, then employers must make the information from the medical surveillance (the blood sample, biological monitoring, and lead and zinc protoporphyrin analyses) available to the employee for one year.
Employers must also provide a medical surveillance program - with biological monitoring - to any employee exposed at or above the action level for more than 30 days in any consecutive 12 months.
