OSHA Assistance, Services, & Products

If the contents of this course make it seem like lead-related activities and programs are daunting, do not worry: OSHA provides a multitude of resources to assist employers meet the Lead Standard.

OSHA provides extensive help through a variety of programs, including the following:

• Assistance with ensuring your program is run according to its state plan's guidelines (if you live in a state that has its own State Plan rather than OSHA's federal guidelines)
• Free-of-service consultation programs, paid for by OSHA, to assist smaller business compliance with OSHA regulations
• Guidance with joining some of OSHA's programs that highlight exemplary businesses, such as the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP), Voluntary Protection Program, or Strategic Partnership Program
