Pneumatic Nail Guns
Pneumatic nail guns are the most common type. They are powered by a supply of compressed air. To fire a nail, the air travels through an open valve to fill a cylinder, forcing the piston to move downward suddenly and driving the nail to the tip of the gun. There are no requirements to operate a pneumatic nail gun. These guns can fire 10 rounds per second and at speeds up to 1,400 feet per second (fps).
