First Aid
It is beyond the scope of this course to discuss first aid. A trained first aid worker should provide assistance, and if necessary, 911 or emergency services should be contacted in the event of a medical emergency.
First aid for chemical accidents varies according to the type of chemical. Make sure you read the SDS and understand what steps to take in emergency situations. There are special procedures for crude oil exposure, some of them based on the route of entry (absorption, inhalation, ingestion, or injections as previously discussed).
