Labeling
The OSHA Hazard Communication Standard set forth to ensure chemical safety in the workplace requires that all employers with hazardous chemicals in their workplace have labels on those products and that workers be trained to handle them properly. The following contain the minimum requirements for labels:
- Identity of the hazardous chemicals
- Appropriate hazard warnings
- Name and address of the chemical manufacturer, importer, or other responsible party
