Goggles
Goggles are designed to shield a worker's eyes from impact dangers, such as flying objects and projectiles, large chips, liquids, and particles. They also protect workers from splashes from dangerous chemicals and molten metals, as well as hazardous sprays, fumes, vapors, and mists. They also protect workers from smaller dust particles and heat hazards. Goggles should fit the wearer's face and completely surround the eye area, forming a protective seal around the eyes. This seal keeps harmful substances from getting under or around the goggles. Goggles are primary protectors, meaning that workers can use them alone or in conjunction with a secondary protector. Workers can even use prescription goggles to correct vision.
There are several factors to consider when selecting a pair of goggles.
