Confined Space Emergencies

A confined space emergency is defined as any action or event, whether inside or outside the confined space, that could endanger the person(s) working within the confined space. Examples of a confined space emergency include unauthorized entry into a confined space, failure of monitoring equipment, and inadequate hazard control.

Never enter a confined space to rescue someone without proper training, equipment, and an action plan.
