Rescue Operations - Phase 4: Termination
Once the victim(s) and the rescue team entrants have exited the confined space, the supervisor should document the exit time and ensure that everyone is accounted for. The rescue team entrant(s) will need to be debriefed regarding any critical information discovered while in the confined space. This may include the location and position of the victim when found, the condition the victim was found in, and any specific problems encountered while in the confined space.
The rescue supervisor should ensure that the space and all entry points have been sealed and secured.
